Monday feels like the best time to set my goals. It's the start of the week, so makes sense! Do you all set weekly goals?

What are the goals you want to accomplish this week?

I have a goal of going to the gym every day this week.

A second goal to meet my calorie needs and not under eat.

I would love to hear yours!

Walk 5 miles a day, 7 days a week.

Hit the gym for weight training 3 days a week.

Make 2 classes at the gym.

Drink 96 oz of water, or more daily for the week.

Hit goals on Calories/carbs/protein/fat daily for the week.

Bike ride 5 or more miles 2 times this week.

Write training plans for the dogs.

5 miles a day? That seems like so many. Maybe I am just a lazy slag :( how fast do you walk?

It took me a 9 months to work up to 5 miles a day. I walk an hour before work (most of the time with a dog, unless the weather is bad, then I walk indoors by my work), then on both my 15 minutes breaks and again for 20 minutes during my lunch break. I do walk at a bit of a pace if I'm not on schedule for the day, otherwise I play Pokemon go at the same time... It rewards me for walking! If I'm not at 11,000 by the time I get home, I'll take one of the dogs out, weather permitting. If you want to do more, just add a little bit at a time.

This week's goals:

  • Meet my step goal every day

  • Take a walk/jog after work on the days I don't have roller derby

  • No donuts (my weakness/trigger)

I have been craving donuts like nothing else lately. I never really was a donut person, but since my cycle has picked back up, I have donuts on the brain.

There's a gas station on the way to work that has really good donuts, and it's REALLY hard not to stop in on my morning commute. I've been better about packing a healthy breakfast to eat at work, but I need to step up my game and not give in!

I had to change my route to work, I have a little hole in the wall donut shop that make french type donuts... OMG! They are sooo good! I've only had them twice in the last 2 years. I want another one sooo bad!! Ack! Most drive home the longer way... (it's only 1/4 miles longer)

I avert my eyes when I pass donut shops (LOL). I'm afraid to even have one bite as they are a big weakness for me.

Here are my three:

1) no sugar

2) no sugar

3) no sugar

Hubby has been out of town on business and I've been eating the easiest things I can find to avoid going to the grocery store. So now I get to pay the price. It's so hard to cut the sugar out once it's been let in. I wish I weren't such a slow learner!
