What does an average day's menu look like for you? It's hard to help unless we know what we're starting from.

Breakfast is oatmeal w fruit.

Lunch is a chili soup or a salad

snacks are peanut butter w granola or 100% fruit pops.

Dinner varies, but usually protein, carb n veggies.

There is some grazing and im sure carbs are involved.

Replace all of your carbs with protein. No more oatmeal, fruit bars, or granola.

Breakfast can be yogurt or eggs. Snacks can be things like cheese, lunch meat, jerky, or the like.

Ditch the carb at dinner. You should be eating lean, dense protein until you're mostly full, with a note or two of veggies.

Check out the daily menu threads to get an idea of a more appropriate set of food choices.

I hate to tell you but your entire menu is mostly carbs. Carbs are very involved here. You will not lose on this menu and will continue to regain.

Read labels. I'm a firm believer that understanding exactly what you're putting into your body makes it easier to make the right choices. As others have said, your entire day is filled with carbs.

Breakfast - your current breakfast is 100% carbs. Eggs or yogurt. Have a thin slice of toast if you need something.

Lunch - salads are hard because they bring absolutely no nutritional value but are so good (I love salads but limit to once a week maybe). What's in the chili soup - carbs?

Snacks - again more carbs in your granola. Nuts are a great snack if you need crunch. Or try deli meat or yogurt.

Dinner - two of the three items you mention are carbs (carb N veggie). You should primarily be eating protein with a small amount of veggies/carbs (at least that's what I aim for).

You'll figure it out.
