We are having out of town company and have planned to try a few new things. The first one is Zoodles at the Noodles store, then Cauliflower pizza crust a Pieogy, and last keto pancakes made by my husband. So we are all eating healthy and trying new things. It really helps that my out of town guest is on the same eating plan that I am...Plus my husband is trying to lose weight as well, so he's eating protein first, veggies, then fruit and maybe some carbs but not many.

we also have a lot of walking activities planned as well! We should be moving all weekend. Zoo, Six Flags, bike race, and more.

Respectfully, Kathy, I think this is a terrible question. Many of us here struggle with disassociating holidays and social events with eating. Celebrating a holiday is great, but we don't need to focus on doing so with food.

I respect your opinion and thank you for bringing up a different side to the holidays and eating

No specific plans or parties. I hope to get out and active with the fam and clean a closet!

For food. Well, this evening we ordered Mexican and I got a carne asada plate sans rice. It will literally last for days. I can't believe that in the not too distant past, I would have eaten almost all of it in one sitting ...

No specific plans here! I am starting 2 new jobs, one full-time and one part-time, this week. So this weekend is all about meal prep and setting up a good self-care routine. Husband and I are thinking of going for a bike ride and possibly playing tennis at some point too.

By planning the weekend I only had one small bump in the road as far as food goes! I'm sure if I hadn't planned it would have been a lot more than 1 bump! I feel for my fall favorite, a caramel apple... I did manage to stay under my calorie goal for the day but man it threw me off off my carb goal...

My friend that came in from out of town brought a Keto/Gluten-Free Cheesecake that was great! 225 calories and only 4 net carbs a serving, I was good! I only had two pieces total, 1 slice on Saturday and 1 on Sunday! So, that was amazing...

Planning really does help, it could have been a lot worse.
