Gallbladder causing sudden weight gain?

After many test and attacks, my gallbladder is coming out in 11 days. I am gaining weight by the day and feel terrible. Has anyone had this happen? My eating is not out of control and I'm still working out. Will I lose this extra weight after surgery? Is there anything I can do to stop it? How did you feel after surgery? Thanks for some advice.

I did not gain any weight with gall bladder. I had outpatient surgery at 9:00 AM, went home at noon, got the pain medicine prescription filled, took one tablet and slept all afternoon.

I was fine the next day, but did not do any lifting for ten days. Is your weight gain due to constipation?

I'm extremely bloated. Feel so fat. :(
