I do too When I firs****ched Justice League, I didn't like the flash at all Sometimes I think we get so wrapped up in our weight issues we forget it's just as bad on the other side. I can't tell you how many times I wish I was skinny.... Maybe not a good idea to wish that

Why do you think that's my username? lol .......it's always been a dream of mine to be skinny ever since I was a kid which is so sad because of all the things to want in life I was worried about that. Even when I was "skinny" I didn't feel it or see it. I have a lot of friends that are very thin and get criticized for being too thin and get told they need to eat more. It's sad society is so critical of everyone about everything.

It really is sad that so many people feel it's ok to share their opinions on other peoples bodies. And I've come to realize that there seems to be, literally, no weight at which people will not criticize you. When I was MO, I got told by doctors, family and friends that I needed to lose weight (as if I could POSSIBLY not know that was a good idea?). Now I hear from family and friends (not so much my doctor, but he does tell me every single appointment that he doesn't want to see me lose any more weight) that I have gone too far and am "too skinny". I'm not too skinny by any objective measure, but that doesn't stop people from sharing their opinion. Why do people seem to think it's totally ok to openly judge others bodies? It's baffling to me.

I don't think this can be blamed on the internet, as it happens a lot in real life. And... it happened prior to the 1990s too.

VSG with Dr. Salameh - 3/13/2014
Diagnosed with Binge Eating Disorder and started Vyvanse - 7/22/2016
Reconstructive Surgeries with Dr. Michaels - 6/5/2017 (LBL & brachioplasty), 8/14/2017 (UBL & mastopexy), 11/6/2017 (medial leg lift)

Age 42 Height 5'4" HW 319 (1/3/2014) SW 293 (3/13/2014) CW 149 (7/16/2017)
Next Goal 145 - normal BMI | Total Weight Lost 170

TrendWeight | Food Blog (sort of functional) | Journal (down for maintenance)

Agree! The internet may magnify the effect, but for me, this is 100% real life. And people who are often quite close to me.
