You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

I bought some protein shots that contain collagen, after I complained to Bariatric Pal they said they also contain whey protein isolate so they are good for WLS patients. Is this really correct? I haven't used them for fear I would not get the amount of usable protein I need. I was angry for wasting money, and that a service that is touted for WLS people would sell something we can't utilize.

I'd stay away from them. They used to be all collagen, but word hhot around and sales dropped. They added whey, but only they know how much. 1 percent? 10? 50 percent?

There are just too many excellent choices to bother with what could be a very poor one.

And there are a lot of "bariatric" products and companies that are just awful. Anything to make a buck. There are "bariatric" vitamins that promise only one pill a day is enough, but in actuality you'd need 16 per day to equal 2 Centrum adult vitamins . Some protein powders swear they are super absorbed, and one tiny scoop gives you 30 grams of protein, with only 15 calories. There are just a lot of folks looking to take advantage of others.

As a Bruce ****burn fan, you've heard about some of them.
