This morning on my way to work I stopped for coffee at Wawa.

i saw a woman who I have known for about ten years and had not seen since last summer.

aI turned 51 on Saturday and have been in kind of a funk. Vanity is one thing I deal with.

She told me this morning how healthy I looked. I think this is one of the nicest compliments since surgery. I was always worried about my size. And worried about my skin being saggy.

to hear healthy I looked was a great feeling today. It has to do with how comfortable I am learning to be me. And it's okay with all of my body imperfections.

Learning to love myself and know this is a lifetime changer.

I have no regrets.

Thank you Laura you are the vet that I hear in my head when I hear love yourself.

I feel when you love yourself you respect and deserve respect also.

Now when I hear just because you can doesn't mean you should. I hear Kim.

It is the total mental part that is the hardest.

losing weight in the beginning let me believe that I was freaking Wonder Woman. Now the weight comes off so slowly. It still does but only when I eat low carb and not chemically changed foods.
