Hi Nikki...thanks for the welcome..No therapist, but on medicine for 25 yrs already and right now am very stable,been thru a lot in the past and if I do surgery, might jeopardize my mindset.
My medical doctor nags me for years to do gastric, heard great things..but my mental health holds me from doing.
just have to wait on what the surgeon says and take it from there. Be well

Welcome!! I am also in my 50's. We have a lot of living left to do!! Fight for your health. Losing the weight does not solve all of our problems, but it definitely makes them easier to deal with.
I am so thankful for my weight loss surgery. It gave me my life back again.
