Bit the bullet

Hello everyone, hope this week goes well for all of us!

i had my three month check up with the surgeons NP. I also started the conversation about BED. Boy...that was hard to do. I almost cried talking to him about it! They are going to set me up with a psychologist through them(Texas Tech).

i'm a bit worried about it interfering with the clinic I go to but i'll Cross that bridge when I get there. I see my case manager later today so i'll have even more info about the next steps.

The NP was very happy with everything so I am relieved!

onto the next step!

Mel

One step at a time! That is all we can do :-)

Good for you taking some of the hardest steps by talking about BED. I hope you are able to get the help you need.

Congrats! So glad to hear you are taking these first steps to addressing this disorder! This is how you end up being a success story, by recognizing issues and going after them! I think you'll end up wonderfully.

I'm so glad that you've gotten the ball rolling! The first few conversations were the hardest for me, so I hope you find that it gets a little easier with time.
