Fed up with eating
I'm with you! Eating feels like such a chore. Having no hunger is definitely different, I have to use the clock too to know when I should be eating. The only things that sound good to me are the things I shouldn't have. A coworker keeps bringing in bagels that I studiously avoid. Bread is one of my weaknesses and I just don't want to get started again.

I'm going through this right now, hence the two protein shakes a day instead of just my regular breakfast shake. For me, I think part of it is Invisalign and having sore teeth which makes chewing not super enjoyable. I'm also busy so taking the time to put food together and eat is annoying. I do still cook dinner and eat real food then. I enjoy both the cooking and the eating. But, during the day? Shrug.

I am 23 years past WLS, There is good news and bad news....Surgery works! You have an effective tool . The bad thing there will be these days. .. times it is difficult to eat what is good for us. It will pass. Food fatigue is common. My hubby has it and he is not ever been overweight!
my advice.. roll with the flow...find a way around the roadblocks to your own health.
if it is a day you don't feel like eating, use those protein shakes, be aware of your calories and track your water... After a couple of days (even with mine caused by gastritis) my appetite returns. As long as you stay on track with proteins and water,( and enough calories) it can give your weight loss a boost, with little cost to energy or stamina. To stop the continual counting of calories and etc. you can do that with a scheduled diet..make an outline of your diet..then daily you just need to make daily choices/availabilities.
I have a general food schedule I use... 4 eggs 1 pc diet bread/toast for breakfast, ....late lunch.3 protein/ 1 carb serv ... 3 proteins for pm meal w/ 3 oz carbs, 2-3 oz protein for late snack with 1/2 serv carb. I rarely eat fruit. I use 2 oz lacttose free milk daily as coffee creamer.. this gets me really close to my goals...without counting every bite.
For me at your stage I was in kind of the same mind set. After a while there are some things that I still enjoy eating and look forward to however most of the time food it just ah..whatever if you know what I mean. I am almost 3 years out at this point and I have over 1000 days in a row of tracking on My Fitness Pal and I have had to just know that at this point this is my lifestyle forever and I am good with that. It is well worth the energy to plan a bit and take the time to track every day to know that I am maintaining over 200 pounds lost and that I never plan to go back to my old life on the sidelines. You have done so great, stay the course! :)
