I almost wish I was their patient...I'd probably make the nutritionist cry, heh.

Kidding aside, good for you! And, the high protein diet will help post-op with healing, as well as get you accustomed to starting to have a higher intake in general for the DS.

Good luck with surgery! Keep looking out for yourself and you will absolutely be successful :)

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

Not everyone has to do a liquid diet, I did not because I had lost the required percentage of pre-op weight. That saying, I did do the liquid diet and it was soooo high sugar/carb content that I went on a cleaning frenzy because I had such a sugar rush.
