Reality Pants

These are my reality pants. They have no stretch and hit right at the hip bone. If I gain a tummy at all they won't fit. I figure I'll just try them on every so often.

When I was MO I always said I had a large frame. But that's a lie. I actually am small framed (but sort of tall, 5'7").

I always said I was big boned.

My mother always told me I was big boned--I think she didn't want me to be depressed. I'm a size 0 now so I guess she lied!

Okay, this has been a concern. Now that I wear normal sized jeans, I CANNOT find jeans without stretch in them. Where are they all hiding? Everything has give to it, and I honestly don't like it. I prefer jeans with no give in them and feel they fit my thighs better than anything with stretch.

I have found jeans at TJMAXX that do not have any give.

Everything has to be tried on now, even with buying the same brand jeans. At least for me from Old navy,gap.

it takes a while to find the right fit. I just posted since I can have a habit of lying to myself and not getting on the scale, some of my old behaviors came back

Have you checked out the old school Levi's Mersh? The 501's don't have stretch and there are others with "model numbers" that I can't remember.

Newer cuts of Levi's seem to have some give. Never thought I'd see the day. ;)

Thanks, Amy! I'll look at those. I only have one pair that have no stretch that I found at the good will, they are from the gap, but all other information has been removed. It's too bad, because I adore them, the fit is amazing and the perfect color.

My "reality pants" are my 501 Levis. They tell the truth. And when they are a little loose, they feel so good. ;)
