Sounds like you are able to do more with your kids as well. That's a priceless gift.

Congratulations.

First few years I used to carry with me a small piece of paper with my NSV written on it. I even laminated it so I could keep it with me and look at it when I was tempted to overeat.

That helped me when I was dealing with regain, and losing it was a hard, slow process.

I'm so happy for you, and I can really relate to many of the things you share.

I do a lot of public speaking, and while I'm doing it I feel confident and effective.

Then when I see pictures of myself doing it, I'm disgusted and start thinking to myself that the only reason people listen to me with such rapt attention is because I'm a big fat lady with a voice that projects. Maybe they're afraid I'll sit on them if they don't pay attention.

Maybe I would.
