medicated body powder?

For rubbing/chafing I like either BodyGlide or Squirrel Nut Butter, both of which you can find at sporting goods or running stores - my hubby uses them when he runs half marathons and marathons. They work for keeping chafing from happening - especially in the shorts/chub rub zone.

I had this problem when I was heavier. I just started using Secret solid antiperspirant. It works so great. Runners use it on parts of their bodies to avoid chafing, so I knew it would work for me.

Thank you for sharing! Never be afraid to ask questions because it might be embarrassing! We're here for you and are happy to help! I'm glad you posted this question and I'm sure others will be too! I have been using Gold Bond Medicated since my surgery in August 2003. I find it works for me just fine. I didn't even know anything about Monkey Butt. Now I'm going to look for it at Walmart or Walgreen's for sure. See how your question helped me! I wish you continued success on you weight loss journey!

If at any time the powder doesn't work and you end up with a sore, documenting is good with your doctor, but 3-day Clotrimazole vaginal cream for yeast infections was the only thing that worked for me. Powder is great for maintenance (I used gold bond), but not if you have already developed an owie.
Try an antifungal cream before bedtime and in the morning. The cream for atheletes foot or jock itch is about the same strength. The cream for vaginal infections is a stronger concentration. After applying the cream, tuck a paper towel in the folds to soak up any additional moisture. If you do this, the powder isn't necessary. If you just want to do extra, I would go with the spray.
