Does everyone have plans for Mother's Day? I know it's the busiest holiday to eat out. If you are taking your Mom out or your loved ones are taking you out, be sure they have the protein you love to eat Better yet, eat at home and that way you will know you will have options. NO WAIT, no cooking for you on Mother's Day
Enjoy and feel special, you deserve it.

We're probably going out to IHOP on Sunday. The egg-white veggie omelette doesn't have pancake batter in it, so it's a good choice and the leftovers last quite a bit. Plus my 2 year old can go to town on a waffle with bacon, so he's happy too!

We're going to a middle eastern place my grandmother has wanted to try. I honestly have zero idea what to eat there. I don't know anything about middle eastern food. Lamb shish-kabob maybe?

If they don't have a lamb or chicken skewer you want to try - look at any tagine options -- they are usually fall apart tender with a nice little sauce!

I don't like to eat out on Mother's Day. Too crowded. I bought pork chops to cook- it's what I'm in the mood for. I also stopped at a bakery and bought a dessert- it's called a raspberry-peach Bombe. It's about the size of tennis ball, halved. I can't wait to try it. I need to be point as much as I can otherwise. Lots of tempting carbs in the house of late.
Happy Mother's Day!
