We actually grill them outside but you could definitely pan fry them! Just make them thin! They're really good!

I am all about the marinades lately. Made one Greek one with lemon juice, slices and zest, Greek seasoning, oil, lots of sliced garlic.

Just tried the McCormick Grill seasonings, garlic and herb was really good. Going to try more.

shrimp is a go-to. Garlic, olive oil, spinach, sautéed then with Parmesan.

Fish is my easy - I forgot to thaw something item.

Made fish tacos with wild caught pollock, and mission has these thin corn tortillas that are low calorie and very flexible. Homemade fresh tomato salsa and siracha mayo. Heaven. (NY times recipe)

Also love the Mahi burgers from both Trader Joe's and BJs wholesale. Provolone and sliced avocado and again siracha mayo. I like the BJs ones a little better.

I love the Mahi burgers and Chicken Lime burgers from TJs. Also the tuna and the salmon burgers from TJs are microwavable so easy when I'm hungry and don't have time to cook!

I have never had a chicken burger...but I do want to try that and a turkey burger (I have had one of those but it was a long time ago and not done well). Are the ones from TJs a good one to start with? The flavor sounds like a good one!

TJ's really has some good options. The Chili Lime Chicken burgers are really tasty and healthy too! TJ's also has turkey burgers, but sometimes they seem to be more dry. You can add sauce though.

Thanks! I might make a run to TJs and try the chicken ones; it can be my new thing to try.

I think you are a little early for turkey. Gotta respect that poultry for your pouch' s sake.

one of my favorite things to make and eat are low carb stuffed peppers.
I usually use ground turkey but you can use any ground meat really.
again, you can flavor with almost any combination- making mexican flavor inspired ones, or italian with some italian sausage or just adding some fennel to your turkey meat
...I made philly cheesesteak flavor ones last time.
I got mini sweet peppers last time since they are perfectly portioned too--depending how big they are, 1-2 of them halved and stuffed are perfectly portioned!

usually i will sautee the meat with some kale or spinach, onions, and then whatever seasonings and cheese you like,

for philly cheesesteak, it was ground beef, green pepper, onion, a little cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, add some neufchatel cheese, sautee together and then stuff it into half a pepper - (I usually will pre-boil the peppers for a bit first so they are not too crunchy since i like them more soft) top with shredded swiss (or whatever cheese you like)- bake til melted/ browned

the italian ones are DH's favorite- turkey italian sausage, onion, garlic, tbsp tomato paste, kale, basil and oregano, sautee together, add some parmesan cheese and spoon into peppers, top with mozzarella and bake til melted/browned.

fajita /taco flavor- brown together ground turkey, onion, different color peppers/jalapenos, garlic, cumin, chili powder, cilantro, sour cream, stuff in peppers and top w/cheddar and bake! (you can add some black beans to the mix if you like beans and don't mind the extra carbs)

if you don't like bell peppers, you can make the same kinds of meat stuffing and put them in zucchini boats, spaghetti squash, really any kind of mild flavor vegetable that can be hollowed out would probably work!
