I feel the same way about my stomach. I had one kid (post-WLS), but I look like I've had two or three. And honestly, that puts me in a very similar boat with many other women my age, and I'm totally OK with it.

Yup I had one full term baby with lots of bed rest and i lost 2 pregnancies around 20 weeks....

suddenly we have WLS and we want complete perfection, when really not much different then normal woman who were not MO and had multiple babies ... not to say it is not well worth it for those who choose to have plastic surgery and have the means.

Work on your triceps to help with the "under" part of the arm. It's the biggest muscle in your arm and has great potential for growth

Thank you, everyone. I was hoping that something would help, though I k ow nothing would be as good as surgery. I guess I better start saving now.

As Erin and Cecily pointed out, unfortunately we do grow more skin as we gain weight. I didn't understand that either until after WLS. My skin looked okay in the past when I lost 40 pounds or so (though my tummy was NEVER flat). But a loss of over 105 was just too much for me. The worse places were where the most fat was. For instance my legs and back are pretty good. BUT I had a really fat face, fat belly, and somewhat fat arms. So I ended up having a facelift and TT. The arms aren't bad enough to pay for PS and have the resulting scars.

Regardless, even with loose skin most of us look and feel 200% better after losing the weight when in our clothes and even good quality slimming baching suits. Some people wear comfortable compression underwear a lot of the time if needed.

For the single people, how has it affected dating? Is it a turn off for men or don't they care?

I would like to find a solution, besides surgery, to rid my body of the inner thigh fat (without having lipo). I'm limited on the type of exercise I can do because of my bad knees and right shoulder. I briskly walk 4x a week (18 min mile), and ride my bike at a good clip at least 3x a week.

There is no magical lotion, potion, vitamin or exercise to tighten up loose skin. You might notice a little bit of tightening next year but trust me, it's nothing to write home about. It's permanently damaged. Now is the time to explore the magical world of spandex undergarments.
