Good for you for taking the steps for surgery. It can be a emotional roller coaster but life is so much better for me in life now. Learning to love ourselves is one of the hardest things but it is one thing I was told and it helped.

WELCOME BARB!

Someone on this website gave me great advice. I've attached a sheet to answer questions to help you make your decision. I was so undecided but after creating the attached worksheet it helped me to gain 100% confidence in the decision I've made. I also created a binder with tabs to keep everything in order.

I requested copies of all of my test results and made lists of questions to ask when at the clinic. I also downloaded the MY FITNESS PAL APP to record all my food and exercise. That was an eye opener. Don't give up and take your time in making this decision.

All the best!

Thank you sooo much...this is a fantastic idea to look at how I feel on paper and the pros and cons.

Welcome! There is actually and Ontario Forum here on OH. I don't have the link but someone probably does. You're always welcome to post here or anywhere you want, but Ontario seems to be unique for many reasons and the forum over there is pretty active.

Good Luck with your surgery. You'll do just fine. =)

Welcome!

It's a wonderful rollercoaster you just joined! It's ok to be scared, and excited, and nervous, and excited...all at the same time even :) I remember that feeling!

You got this, you're going to do great!

Welcome - even the longest journey begins with the first step - glad you've made yours. Good luck on this journey.
