1st day of pre op liquid diet
Does it get any easier with the liquid diet? I am allowed all clear liquids plus sugar free jello and puddings. I have 2 weeks of this before my surgery. Any ideason how to get my cravings to go away? I walk 3 times a day I am at 64 ounces of fluids a day. I am taking vitamins both a multi vitamin and calcium. I am at 65 grams of protein a day. This is harder than I thought.

Are you approved to eat oatmeal? It's definitely not a clear liquid.

Not sure if you're getting protein shakes too? I did Optifast for 3 weeks, first couple of days were really bad, but after about day 3 I wasn't hungry just missing chew food. Couldn't find sugar free popsicles but they might of helped with the chew factor. Think of it as training for after surgery, if you can get used to this now the limited diet post surgery will be easier.

Stick to the plan and the hunger does go away after a few days. You got this!
