Anyone have any suggestions for a new scale? Mine is a very cheap one and I would really like to get a new one. Preferably one I can plug in over use batteries for, but that's not a necessity!

Woops- just noticed you wanted a kitchen scale...lol. Disregard my reply. It's been a bad week!!

I have the Nokia Body Cardio scale (formerly Withings). HERE is the link. I love it. It has a rechargeable battery. I just plug it in to recharge it about every 6 months or so (it uses a micro-USB charger).

I like that everything is saved on my account and I can see it on an app. It keeps me on track.

I actually meant a kitchen scale, but thanks! I looked at link and it looks really nice. I have been thinking about a new scale to weigh my body on, but this cheapy from target seems to have been doing great, haven't needed to replace the batteries yet despite using it every day.

Based on reviews from Serious Eats and Cook's Illustrated, I recently upgraded to this one -- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WJMTNA/

I am very happy with it!

Oh, I LOVE that pull out. That may be the one I go with. I have a little dinky scale and when I put a plate on it it covers up the screen. I hate having to finagle it

Yes! I was always having to put something tall on my scale first, then zero it, then put the plate on top of the tall thing in order to weigh something that covered the display :P

I bought that scale last night and it'll be here today! (Gotta love prime 1-day shipping) So excited to actually be able to see the number and not have to shove the plate all around and bend down to try and get a look.

I've had this model for about 4 years and have really liked it.

Between my dad's house, the family cottage, and my house I have 3 of these and they are awesome. The company makes terrific bathroom scales too. And they are not expensive.

Like Cecily, I also have Eatsmart Precision Digital Scales (one in Massachusetts and one in Florida). I love them!
