My 600 lb Life - Schenee's Story OMGosh!

..I THINK ABOUT HOW MANY PEOPLE WHO HAD GASTRIC BYPASS ON THAT PROGRAM THAT REALLY SHOULD NOT OF HAD IT....I THINK ABOUT MYSELF HOW MUCH I WANTED IT IN 2009 AND I DID THE WORK..AND WAS PROMISED THE SURGERY BUT TOLD ME NO.....BECAUSE OF SCAR TISSUE. AND I KNOW THAT WOULD OF CHANGED MY LIFE..BUT I'M ON THE 1200 CAL DIET. I JUST WISH I COULD LOSE 20 30 LBS A MONTH LIKE GASTRIC BYPASS GIVES. A TOOL THAT I COULD WORK WITH...AND NEVER AGAIN BE AN UNHAPPY UNHEALTHY WOMAN. AGAIN.

So sorry for all you have been through....

I think I understand Schenee. She is emotionally still childlike ..her excess weight has led to a life of bring catered to and supported by both her mother and her husband .

I don't think Schenee has internalized the requirements of getting and keeping weight off and is trying those boundaries like a child would.
