I felt bad, but yet was very frustrated with her attitude and her Hubby seemed to just be along for the ride. I am going to have to watch future episodes.

I've watched 3 episodes of this show and not one of them have lost enough to qualify for surgery. Very sad indeed.

I'll repeat my reply on the other forum:

She is entitled, rude, disrespectful and a bully. I was rooting for Freddie to leave her, to be honest.

Few of these people have jobs and they take so much advantage of Disability and Medicaid it ****** me off and I'm a socialist!!!!!

I love it when they finally "get it" and are successful, but people like this woman make my blood boil.

Proud Feminist, Atheist, LGBT friend, and Democratic Socialist

OMG Kim I spit my tea when I read "Few of these people have jobs and they take so much advantage of Disability and Medicaid it ****** me off and I'm a socialist!!!!!" But it's true, he hospitalized her to help her lose 91 pounds and then she gains it all back. I can't imagine what that bill was for her stay

Why do you guys watch that s**t?

It's a program designed to trigger everybody's terror of morbid obesity and to make everybody (including us who've had WLS) feel superior to massive (no pun intended) outliers of humanity.

It's the modern-day version of circus geek sideshows.

My opinion.

I think that's why I still watch the occasional episode. It's so inspiring when someone really gets it and takes advantage of the opportunity they have.

I agree Cecily and I also say to myself "there by the grace of God go I". I was at 330 at my highest and I shudder to think where I would be if I had not had surgery. My mind can't go there being 400, 500 or 600 pounds but we never know....

She's just another version of Penny. I think of her as Penny 2.0. She's just as stubborn, rude & a know it all. The whole I know my body for 20+ years was just yet another excuse not to take responsibility for her actions. Her husband taking the blame for the pizza just made me even madder at the both of them.

No one surgery is better than the other, what works for one may not work for another. T-Rebel
