Need advice for comfortable shapewear to reign in my apron
I tried several on and they were uncomfortable and i am all about comfort. I am down 70 pounds and the hanging apron is a real eyesore. i just want something that will make it less giggly and obvious but nothing super restrictive. Also breathable as I live in Houston.

I don't wear any shape wear since I hate it. I stick to 3/4 sleeved shirts and tunic blouses. I do wear compression leggings though because I like them.
I have tried several brands and the only one that stays put, ie does NOT roll down is Tempthing. Best advice I can give is don't buy too small. Maybe the size (or two) above the clothes size you are wearing. Too tight will be sausage like.
They are a fraction of the price of Spanx etc too

I like the Soma smoothing short. Lightweight but smooths everything out but not heavy like a girdle.

I do shaping camis to mostly control the floppy area by my bellybutton. I get the ones by Maidenform you can wear your own bra with and they're pretty reasonably priced. They do come down some, but I don't know if you'd find it as useful for the apron area.
In the past, I've worn brief-style shapers. I liked the Cacique ones by Lane Bryant because they didn't roll down, but I don't think they make them anymore.

This is my favorite all these years...
at 140 -150 bought a medium, my size now 165 wear it in a large .... (height 5 foot 7) I bought the large at around 185... I never found it warm but CT not that hot even in summer compared to Houston.
(Edit to fix some sentences)
I wear size small to medium- my " shape-wear" is at least L or XL. Try it on if you have a hard time to put it on or it rolls when you sit down or squat - get 1-2 sizes bigger. For more stretchable - light fabric - I get one size bigger than my normal size. I may wa**** in a washer - but air dry it all the time.
Also - buying tights or legging that are "control top", then cutting around knee level - cheap and easy to get
