Flavor enhancers for water
I have - not sure if it's the caffeine or something else in the tea, though. Caffeine and all stimulants can suppress appetite to varying degrees.
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!
It is not that we have so little time but that we lose so much...the life we receive is not short but we make it so; we are not ill provided but use what we have wastefully. -- Seneca, On the Shortness of Life
I also loved ice water pre RnY but it made me really nauseous post-op. Daisy suggesyed I try a splash of diet cran-something in water. Voila. There are so many flavors. My favorite is probably cran-mango or cran-cherry, but there are quite a few. 5 calories for a cup so I can get 4-6 cups of water in if I supplement with an ounce or two of that.
That said, anything you have to do to get in the liquids works! There are so many add ins. I have tried drops, powders, etc. some like hot tea. Not me, but try everything.

I am a hot tea or infused frui****er; I've tried several of the sugar free add ins but can't get past the aftertaste.

My go to drink is the following:
2 quart pitcher water
1 heaping half teaspoon crystal light (I dump a container of lemonade powder pouches and a container of classic orange pouches into a small tupperware.)
1 heaping half teaspoon G2 fruit punch powder
I've never liked super sweet drinks, so this is pretty diluted and works well for me.

I don't consume artificial sweeteners for health reasons so my flavored water is iced tea made with fruity or citrus herbal tea (e.g. hibiscus, red roobio, lemon ginger, mint, red/berry zinger...). I also like infusing water with cucumbers or fresh fruit. Works well, tastes great, and is good for you.

I'll echo everyone's crystal light. I also like just plain sugar free/cal free packs of kool-aid. The kind with no sweetness. I add some splenda, or truvia to a glass.
