Monday Meat Day!
I grew up with a grandfather who was a butcher and a farmer and I kid you not, it was against the rules to do anything but this. Therefore, we are very much a meat & potatoes family (now minus the potatoes). I think that made it easy to transition to my way of eating now. I add spices to chicken (which we didn't eat as kids, my father called it "yard bird"), fish, and occasionally pork. But, beef is supposed to stand on its own.

I may be very weird, but I love the stuffing from my jalapeno stuffed peppers. It's basically Italian sausage, a little onion and garlic for seasoning and some cream cheese. It is so good. I made jalapeno stuffed peppers this weekend and my kids and I made short work of them! I must remember to make another pound of just the stuffing, so I don't have to mess with the jalapenos! (and hide it from the kids!)

Oooh, that sounds really tasty! I like shredded chicken with cream cheese and garlic, this sounds pretty similar. I'm going to try this soon, thanks!

Once again: fat doesn't make you obese, calories do.
You don't listen, but I'll keep saying it anyway.

I like a hamburger patty as cooking I salt and pepper each side as flipping ....couple times.... I also like A1 sauce and put some of that when cooking on each side ... gives a good flavor! I eat it without a bun like a salsbury steak!
I get the 85% lean premade fresh burgers.
