Losing weight and maintaining it is HARD, even after surgery. I'm really proud of every one of you for working hard, doing your best, and taking good care of yourself.

This tiny kitty is cheering you on!

This kitty is proud of you for drinking all your water!

This kitty supports you in blowing past any obstacles you may face during your WLS journey.

This kitty is encouraging you to eat protein-forward!

Never give up! I believe in you, and so do all the cats of the Internet!

I got two kittens last year. The recommended diet for cats is, no more than 10 percent of their daily calories should come from carbs.

We should eat like cats.

I have 3 cats .... they get a can of fancy feast in morning and night... 6 cans a day ... 80 cents each! my husband would like to cut them back!!! (Thinking of $) says cut them to 5 cans! I think too little amount! What do you feed yours? How much? I was told wet food is better for cats than dry food! Especially the boys for urinary tract blockages.

no don't cut them back. Two cans a day each is perfectly reasonable and necessary. Wet food is better than dry for them.

tell your husband that you will cut them back as soon as he cuts himself back to two meals a day and no snacks. Tell him he will get measured portions that you will measure and not a bite more. If he thinks the cats can do it, he should be able to do it as well.

Tthst is essentially what he is trying to do to your cats.

:) I agree... he says it in grocery store when we are loading them in the cart but just banter! Lol! In one ear out the other ... good guy, with since 18 but way it rolls sometimes after all these years! ;) sure I do and say things too!!!

i do not feed dry as I know not as healthy for them. They love their wet fancy feast!

They also get treats, like 3 or 4 little little temptation treats 2 times a day too. They love those!
