Partial obstruction; cat scan shows "fluid filled excluded stomach Mildly diated"

cat scan was done after fasting for six hours. Anybody hear of this? Had RNY bypass 1 1/2 yr ago and two SBO since then with one resection. Thank you?

Sorry to hear you're going through this, that's no fun! I don't know anything about it all though, sorry.

I had a small bowel obstruction at 3 days after my initial surgery. Luckily they were able to go back in through the initial ports and fix it without a huge operation. My bowel had twisted at the new connection. It was untwisted and everything started working properly again.

I was told that it could happen again and I needed to be on the lookout for symptoms in the future. I'm only 7 weeks out from surgery and so far so good.

From my reading I have discovered that it is an uncommon, but not unheard of, complication from RNY.
