ObesityHelp Conference 2018

I am SO excited! I've booked my hotel, flight and bought the ticket to the conference!

I should be about 4 months post VSG by then. I will be getting my surgery date at my May 8th Nutritionist appoint. Hopefully that will all go smoothly.

Even better, my bestie and surgery twin is going to the conference with me! We have the same surgeon and attend our appointments together, have the same insurance, and will hopefully have our surgery on the same day!

I am really looking forward to meeting people at the conference who have traveled this road!

I'm new around here, what goes on at the conference?

Its a great opportunity to meet others that are going to have WLS or have already done so. I have people I met in 2004 and we are still friends today. We have workshops, speakers, fashion shows and more. You can read all bout it by clicking the Conference tab at the top of the page.

I went last year and am planning on it again this year. It's practically in my backyard so I have no excuse! I really enjoyed all the speakers. Though I was so surprised how few people I met there even knew there were forums on OH. They ought to promote the forums more at the conference! There's such wonderful support, advice and accountability available here...
