Maintenance is tough for sure, but I've made friends with it and it is easier now than it was. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, but it doesnt mean it's the end of trying hard, just not as hard because things have fallen in place and there is a change in mind set. New habits are formed and things are definitely not the same as in the beginning.

Wow! Congratulations! 7½ years out here, the last 6 since hitting maintenance a few pounds below goal. I surely acknowledge both of us for the hard work we are both accomplishing! For me it has been unbelievably worthwhile.
