Healthier Jerky

My favorite brand is called "Field Trip" in the original flavor.
Hands down, my two favorite...
Both are very low in sugar/carbs. I don't pay attention to sodium, so not sure there.
I like very dry jerky though... so these are both much drier than something like Jack Links

Make my own here also. It is a TON cheaper. You can pick up a cheap air dryer for around $30 and a good one for a 100 or more (depending on size and number of bells and whistles). I have made jerky with Venison, beef, chicken, and ham. Favorite would have to be either beef or chicken, just remember with beef stick with the leanest cuts you can find. What ever type you make, it will still be somewhat high in sodium. The salt be it in the marinade or used in flavoring, helps preserve the jerky. Making your own allows you to experiment with the flavors.
My go-to brands are Wild Bill's and Old Trapper. Both are the lowest calories I've seen (and therefore lower carbs), though sodium isn't something I watch out for. Old Trapper is much softer than Wild Bill's if you're still concerned with that.
