Good for you! Remember there's a reason this person is an ex. This person wants you to remain needy so that the abuse can continue. Since it's an ex you don't need to be polite. You don't have to take the gift. Hand it back and say something like "I don't eat chocolate." When the ex says we'll you used to just reply that you don't anymore. This person is a food pusher and is trying to sabotage your success. Don't think about looking for binge foods. Think about your successes and how great life is going to be. Keep the ex out of your life. I've found that you have to stand up for yourself. If you don't respect yourself no one else will.
