I know, I know I am behind on watching my saved episodes. Watched Liz's journey last night. I can't imagine having Lymphedema of the legs like she did. How can someone walk with masses that large on your lower body. OH, that is right she couldn't. I was lucky I never suffered with this debilitating condition but those that do

She did so well in the hospital but when she was home they ended up eating junk as it was easier for her sick Mom to place an order rather than cook. When Dr. Now removed that mass it must have been such a relief. I was proud of Liz and cheering her all the wayI couldn't believe it when she sprained her knee. Throughout the show she was so afraid of walking and getting hurt.... You can walk Liz, you can do it

I am glad the show is starting to show working with a specialist to deal with the emotional trauma is just as important as the food and surgery. GO LIZ

What really causes and relieves lymphedema? My grandfather had it in an arm after lymph node involved primitive cancer surgery.

My grandad wasn?t fat at all .. yet he had it. What?s the relation to excess weight?
