Surgeon is switching my surgery

Why do they want to switch? I?d fight for the RNY ... the higher weight loss long term and lack of GERD risk alone makes it a much better surgery for most. It?s not called the ?gold standard? for nothing.

At least get a second and third opinion and hopefully you can change you can change your surgeon?s plan with that .

A VSG is lower risk and far higher profit for the doctors practice.. but usually not the best choice for the patient particularly patients with higher starting weights like yourself.
