Chicken is usually my go-to breakfast food, as I can snarf it on my way to work in the morning.

Give me a chicken thigh over watery oatmeal crap any day.

More nutrition and less crap. And it's not basically horse food.

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

I hear ya Hala. Ill also point out that despite usually being like an eating-cooking all day snacking gremlin AND drinking... ( and yes that?s a lot of empty calories ... especially if you have fun) and mostly .. out of childish rebellion these last few years .. sitting on my ( well turned ) ass day after shameful day ..

im 135 lbs of.. well... cute. I?m not in the best shape i could be , granted , and heavier than I?d like to be ... however , a size four hasn?t been required yet .

I also just feel much HEALTHIER eating low fat though its currently unfashionable. But I am open to the idea that many of us have different metabolic furnaces so different food plans work better for us .

Oh man, that is a beautiful thing. I love going to a nice steakhouse like Ruth's Chris, and they bring out your steak on a red-hot platter that's just sizzling with a big pat of butter!!

My wife makes an incredible garlic herb butter that we use on our steaks at home...she will not eat it any other way. I like it, though I prefer a rib eye with Montreal steak seasoning ...medium

So I recently got a sous vide and this is one of the things I love about it. It's so easy to make "basic meat" (like a great steak, for example) and then doctor it up in a variety of ways with a great sauce or steak butter.

I suppose that the wise thing for me to do would be to stock up on steaks when they're on sale, sous vide them, freeze them, and voila! Quick and easy to make a sauce/butter and sear for dinners :D

I love sous vide because freezing in vacuum bags makes dinner far more effortless. It's freaking amazing!

When I feel like being ultra mega nerdy, I sous vide IN my instant pot since it's big enough. It feels very internet foodie meta >.>

Luv butter! I put this in my eggs, along with everything but the bagel spice from Trader Joes. So much better to go natural & way satisfying, better than that artificial stuff. imo

Little known fact about the KG herbs and garlic butter: it's what the streets of gold in heaven are made of. So good.
