Given your (as I recall) fanaticism for organic, GMO, chemical-free, "natural" produce, I'm quite surprised that you speak so highly (and frequently) of something this processed.

I avoid eating processed and refined carbs, so that rules out 99% of frozen foods.
I'm always up for a delicious pint of ice cream, though! The real stuff, not Halo Top.

I really do like cooking elaborate great tasting low-fat dishes ... however sometimes ( even I ) have gotten sucked into grabbing fast food ... which almost always felt like a lead football in my stomach and made me VISIBLY gain weight.
So quick, half cooked ready made alternatives are welcome backups.
I have also noticed that the non-cooks here struggle far more than they should. Can we help them too ( and help ourselves ) by recommending good tasting ( healthier) ready made frozen options?

The only thing frozen I buy is veggies that you can just steam. I buy meat frozen.
I don't buy processed foods that are made to eat. I tried that. I end up having them in the freezer and throwing them away thinking they would have made life easier.
Eating pretty much meat and veggies and eggs and dairy is the way I try to go.
The salt alone in foods that are prepared can make me retain water.
I don't really buy frozen ready to eat things for me (except Halo Top, and I can't keep that around all of the time)...
What I DO do though is, when I am cooking, I make extra... then I portion it out into little containers and freeze them. I call them my freezer meals, and I grab and go with those all of the time...
You can freeze most anything you make, and then you have plenty of Freezer grabs for the times that you don't want to cook. And I have found that if I cut up meats before freezing them, they reheat much better... and with white meat chicken, I put just a little water on top in the container just before I reheat to help it stay a little more moist.
