An Uplifting Experience

Went to the annual reunion for my surgery center this past Wednesday--SSM Weight Management Services at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis. It was a wonderful night with a great dinner (everything portion controlled, and delicious)...I even ate a one-bite sugar free dessert thingy, so yummy! It was so awesome to see so many WLS success stories in one room. This is a pic of me with the man who saved my life, my surgeon Dr. Andrew Wheeler!

Didn't know you were in my area,Cathy. I had surgery done by Dr Morales at DePaul 51/2 years ago. Congratulations!

That's awesome, Karen! I'm about 2 hours away from St Louis in mid-Missouri. Dr. Morales was at the event as well, it was really a great evening! I plan on going next year, too!

I'm in Illinois north of Alton. I drove over there monthly to support group for the first year but haven't been since. Just too far to drive.

I think it's awesome that your surgery center support group had this reunion, you look so happy Cathy!
