My 600-lb. Life - Steven and Justin's Story part 3 Do we want to go there?

This was recorded and sitting in my "saved" file for quite a few days. I was not sure if I wanted to go there again. The first 2 made me want to scream. Never have I had seen anyone so selfish and manipulative as Steven. The amount of money that has been spent on him makes my blood boil. Well I went there.....

Have you guys ever seen Dr. Now lose his cool as he did and rightly so. When the ambulance brought Steven in for pain meds and Dr. Now told the ambulance drivers not to take him home and he told Steven to find his own way home I was high five'ing myself.

When Dr. Now went through with the VSG I was shocked? He said he had to feel if the worst happens he did all he could to save him and I can understand that. Justin reminded me of all the head games we play with ourselves. Remember when we said "we can lose weight if we cheat some of the time", "I am walking so therefore I can still eat pizza". Sure, how did that work for us all?

The one person I would give anything to sit down with is the Father. SERIOUSLY? Dude, we need to talk, as you take enabling to a whole new level!

I honestly don't see success for either of them and hope I am wrong. Did you watch? What did you think?

I watched and agree with every single point you raised. I'm disgusted with the family, feel slightly bad for Justin, but agree he's lying to himself. He's gonna do surgery w/o pain meds, ha!

Did you catch that moment when Steven was on the phone with his Mom and Justin was calling her all kinds of names? I was wondering if that was "their" mom or if Steven and Justin had different Moms. Boy, flames were coming out of his mouth

I pretty much gave up on that show after watching episode 1 of this family. It jumped the shark. It was like watching Jerry Springer or something. I have no idea why they had these people on there. Steven was on Dr. Phil (or one of those shows) awhile back and acted the same way - the "My 600 lb Life" people should have known that.

I think I heard somewhere he use to have and or has a youtube channel too. He is going to die if he does not change and we all know you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink

He does have a facebook account and youtube channel where he apparently posts very bizarre things, like videos of himself naked and yelling.

watched 30 min of the first episode and had to turn it. I was so pissed at him...

Did you get through part 1 and 2? I was throwing things at the TV and texting friends. Lost my mind

At first I found their episodes fascinating. I mean, it's not often you get a bonafide sociopath on a reality TV show. But now, it's just frustrating. Why does Dr. Now keep giving him chances!? Why is he even still talking to him at all? I wish he would just refuse to see him.

As for the father, I want to like him, but you're right, he's the worst enabler in the history of enabling. He's going to lose his sons.
