I think I also I get what you're asking about. Randomly it'll be like the pop, but take a while to reset.

Hasnt ever really bothered me, but it is odd! Interesting! I had never considered it as a result potentially from bariatric surgery and the weight loss

Thanks so much for posting this! I never considered that it was linked to my surgery. I started having this issue when I was working but rarely at other times. When I work I am physically active usually walking quickly thru halls and standing on my feet for extended periods. I counted it a great night when I could make it thru my shift with out my ear clogging up. Sometimes I think it was both ears but I am sure that the left ear was involved so now I will watch just to see. I changed jobs and wasn't as physically active and it seemed to go away. I have changed jobs again and I'm more active again and the other night it came back for the first time in a very long time. I had surgery in 2012, the problem started in 2014 ish as I remember and now seems to be almost (dare I hope?) gone. So for some of you that may be good news. Does anyone else find it happens after walking or standing a lot?

One article I read on patalous said for some people it's most noticeable during exercise, so that lines up more for you! I also notice it when I'm hiking...
