Advice for a soon to be VSGer starting at 400+ pounds
Hi everyone, newbie here! I will be having VSG soon (hopefully next month)! Anyone here who started out over 400 pounds? I don't know anyone personally who's starting weight was as high as mine, and just looking to learn more about their journey. Guess I'm just looking to find more people who know where I'm starting from and have any advice! Advice from ANYONE on things to expect after surgery is much appreciated! Thanks!

I started out at almost 500 lbs, tipping the scale at 481. I had the sleeve 14 months ago (Oct 11, 2016). It went very well for me, and I am down 209 lbs.
I am a male, 6'1", large frame and lots of muscle mass, so at 272 I am just about done with losing fat. Your goal may be to be lighter than that. It can be done. Good luck with it.
