Has anyone tried these jicama fries?

You can buy premade ones in the frozen section of the grocery store now! Given the stats, they'd probably be best saved for maintenance, but they're really tasty. I bake them with shredded cheese on top.

I've had jicama before fresh and raw in salads. It was cut finely into straws, no thick chunks or anything. They weren't bitter at all. Maybe you had bad luck with a bad bunch?

Im on the keto diet and was so excited about these. But they tasted awful.

I'm sure they're fine for maintenance, but the carb to protein ratio is way off for weight loss!

Just have a nice piece of steak with them, then your ratios are great!

They're very popular in the keto community, but I think they recommend boiling them before baking. As I understand they take a long time to get soft. I've never tried them as of yet.

Why mess up a perfectly good jicama by baking it and trying to disguise it as a french fry? They are quite good fresh and raw - crunchy like a radish. Good with lime juice. DS
