Understanding my iron labs

WHen I was sick with grave's disease, (overactive thyroid) i knew what was wrong with me and was under care of an endocrinologist. One day at work my symptoms peaked something awful, so I went to the ER with my lab work. Despite having it, knowing my diagnosis etc, they swore I was having an anxiety attack. (symptoms are very similar). They didn't give much credence to my labs, they just said, yeah your TSH is out of whack, see someone about that.

Despite what I knew and had in hand, they treated me on what they saw in that moment, an extremely elevated heart rate. They would not and did not try and treat the thyroid itself.

aaying that to say it may not go as you hope.

You need blood. Now. My guess is that you would be admitted to the hospital with that low of blood.
