Hydration Centers
I saw a story about this on the news the other day. Not something I'd ever consider personally, but being a WLS patient I was intrigued when I saw you can get some infusion ****tails that have vitamins that are important for us. And with hydration overall being a challenge for so many, thoughts??
Or has this been a thing all along and I'm only now crawling out from under my rock?

I must be under the same rock.
I would never consider an IV a cozy experience.

I would happily have an IV once a month or so to get my vitamins up. Probably not for hydration, although in the first couple months post-op it would have been useful.
We don't have anything like that in Canada, unfortunately.

I think I saw a bus (like a big RV ) that was a concierge service for large parties. Big wedding or so. They park the bus and have a few stations in there, so people can get treated and go back to do more drinking. I think I saw that on some program about Vegas.
Last episode RHousewives from BH- showed Lisa Rena and her modeling daughters getting that in their home.

This reminds me of the "Better Late than Never" episode where they went to a Hangover Hospital during Oktoberfest in Munich.
I'm sure some people here on OH would use this since they seem to think IV's are better than actually drinking to get their hydration up to par. It would probably be cheaper than going to the ER.

I think it's a waste of time & money. None of which I have a lot of.
I agree with some of the others in that this is just a way for some rich people to spend their money or to ward off a hangover from too much drinking. I view it in the same way as oxygen bars that have popped up too.
