So I'm still fairly house bound from my most recent surgery (although I hope to try driving for the first time tomorrow, I can't wait)!! I've read some, but decided to get the newest season of Project Runway off the DVR finally.

And oh my go****hey're using, for the first time, non-traditional sized models! The models range from size 2-22! It's super awesome!

In the past seasons, when they're had "real women" challenges, it's always pissed me off to hear the designers whine about having to design for "real women." But this season? It's just making me laugh at them when they whine, because, hey, this is every challenge now :D

The reason I love this is because I've had trouble dressing myself at every size. So it's awesome to see all the different sizes on this show :)

I love that they did that this year also. I hope they keep doing real women on a regular basis. They could just do the "skinny model women" as challenges instead. Not that it's much of a challenge. I also like they had a designer that made clothes that fit in with the muslim religion but other people might enjoy her clothes too.

Yes! I totally love Ayana and her "modest" clothing. I'd happily wear so many of her outfits :D

I loved the diversity in the models too. Progress! And I think it made for more interesting runway shows!

I'm a huge Project Runway fan. I also hated the designers who *****ed about diverse models - WTH! Finally this past season the designers (at least the majority of them) totally embraced the diversity. Just hated this season's ending :(

I didn't want to spoil it for you... Love the runway BIG MOMENT! Check out the after show program there is something really nice that happens for a couple of the plus size models.

My money is on them not doing this again, I hope I am wrong!

I think that they will considering how outspoken Tim Gunn has been on the topic of designing for all sizes and that he's a producer of the show :)

One can only hope. I must say I relished the horror look on some of the designers when they didn't have that size zero. As Tim says "MAKE IT WORK"!
