clearly Photoshoped. Everything - but if anyone wonders - look at her other pictures at her arms, and rolls on her belly in the red dress picture.

I like that more and more shows are coming out about WLS. A lot of people think it's easy to go through...these shows show it's not the "easy way out".

Hey Lina_Ann,

I just want to agree 100% with your comment... WLS and the changes in lifestyle and heck, life in general are not easy and can be quite challenging. A dear friend of mine had RNY about 10 years ago...she would get so upset when people would say she took the easy way out. I had no idea what she was talking about...I do now! This is NOT easy. This is everyday...planning, being prepared, and setting yourself up for success.

I'm glad she still has a bit of a tummy and is letting people see that. Nobody is perfect. Those "Baywatch" shots don't look real in the least.

Also what is with her arms still. Does she have lymphedema or lipodema (sp)?

I've never watched the shows but what I've seen of her in interviews cracks me up. Not necessarily in a good way either. Originally she had said that she was going to purposely put the weight right back on after she got her paycheck. Apparently she changed her mind.

Pfft... she's 7 months out... let's see her at 4 years out. (and yes, oh so photoshopped on top of the PS, which I don't begrudge her, if I could, I'd be looking into it now myself!)

Aside from that, I am glad that WLS is getting some attention, I just wi**** was from more 'positive' people. I never watched her show in it's entirety. I caught a few minutes of one episode once and it was awful.

That reminds me of another celeb .. I thought Drew Carey had WLS, specifically LAP-band, to achieve that great weight loss he enjoyed (and still maintains) after being on the Price is Right awhile? He was being interviewed earlier this week on Buzzer by Alex Trebec about "behind the scenes" stuff and stories regarding the game show biz. The last question Trebec asked Drew was something along the lines of "weren't you really fat when you first started P.I.R.?" (cue photo of profile view of Drew on the set with BIG belly sticking out) Drew admitted that he was huge and at his biggest weight of his life at the time, but then he went on to claim to Alex that he got his act together and lost it by vigorously following a special diet and exercise program suggested to him by a personal trainer. WTH??? No mention at all of his WLS. Is he now ashamed to say he had it, or something?

Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "

HW/461 LW/251 GW/189 CW/274 (yep, a DS semi-failure - it happens :-( )

Everything I have seen or read about Drew Carey states he did not have WLS. He called a personal trainer he used after his heart attack in 2001 or 2002 and changed his entire lifestyle.

Just because someone loses a bunch of weight does not mean they automatically had WLS.

Right - I cannot recall which interview I saw, but he said the heart attack "scared me straight", I believe were his words.

You can tell he STILL works out. I saw a picture of him, in shorts, the other day - the dude has some muscles!

IMHO, Drew is a entitled to his privacy just as much as any of us would want to be
