Two things greatly help with anxiety-related insomnia, if that's the cause. One is regular and daily exercise done consistently every day...even walking is very good.

Another is called progressive muscle relaxation. This must also be done every day for the best effect. I was dubious myself, but it really works rather well.

There are a few other things, too.

Seroquel works really well for both anxiety and insomnia. It's very safe and extremely well-tested.

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!
