Never reached goal weight

My surgery was August 2011. Original goal set by doctor was 100 lb loss.

At 90 lb loss, he said no need to lose any more. Physically was not comfortable. Mentally liked way I looked except sagging skin.

No matter what I did weight would not move down.

Now after recent divorce after 36 yrs married and 40 yrs together 10 lb gain. Can't get it to move.

Need help. Exercise very limited due to severe health issues.

June 2017 had plastic surgery to remove some of skin. No weight loss thete which is odd to me.

Had extended tummy tuck, lipo and brazillian butt lift. Know not far out and is bit better but really at this point unhappy with outcome. They say wait a year for final results...uggg

Until then, need help getting weight loss started back.

FYI: I follow rules.

Thanks.

You've come to the right place for help and support. It's ok if you can't exercise right now, you can still lose all of the weight you would like to lose by eating a bariatric diet. What kinds of things are you eating now? How often do you eat and how much? What have you tried that hasn't worked for you?

Ok let's start with how much you are eating daily?

Do you know what your exact calorie intake is?

Are you tracking/weighing/measuring everything you eat daily?

How is your water intake?

Are you taking the appropriate vitamins?

Let us know what your daily meals look like and we can help with suggestions. Believe it or not most of the time it comes down to the person thinking they are eating one amount when it really is more than they thought.

What, exactly, are you eating each day? How many calories? How much protein? Are you weighing/tracking everything you put in your mouth with something like MyFitnessPal?

How much liquid are you getting in each day?

Exercise helps you maintain, but the best way to start losing is to change what you're eating.

Skin does not weigh much. Many of us do not lose anything on the scale after plastic surgery.

Yes skin does not weigh much, so it is not a given you will lose weight with PS.

Most your swelling from PS should resolve in 3-4 months.... yes it takes up to a year to totally heal
