First Thanksgiving

My favorite post-op dessert has been:

2 Cups Whole Fat Plain Greek Yogurt

1 Package SF Pudding Mix (your choice of flavor, I use cheesecake and lemon most commonly)

1 8oz Tub of Cool Whip (you can use SF if you want to cut the carbs a bit more)

Beat it all together. MFP says it's 12g of carbs and 146 calories for a full size "piece" (the size of a normal piece of pie).

I will spread it into a pie plate and top with berries or serve it with fruit to dip and then I just don't eat any fruit. Every single time I serve this, people want the recipe from me! I've brought it to work, served it at book club, and at a family prime rib dinner!

This sounds amazing. I might do this as my "splurge" on thanksgiving. My holiday will be just me and my grandma, so we won't make a big dinner (thankfully!) I'll cook a turkey breast in the crock pot, make a pumpkin pie for her, and some steamed veggies. No fuss, no big temptations since I honestly don't like pumpkin pie too much.

Oh, I am guessing crustless for the recipe, right? Just put it in a pie pan/dish and serve?

Last year I made a low sugar watergate salad. Mix 2 small boxes dry sugar free pistachio pudding with crushed no sugar added pineapple. Fold in sugar free cool whip or whipping cream that you make yourself with a little equal added. We also had a regular dessert. Everybody liked the low sugar one best.
