Hair! Where?

Yes. A deficiency in B. Alsi, now I take B Complex and I have to an injection B12 EOW.

Any average time when I should see a reverse? 9 mos out now. I don't have 3 mos more of hair and remaining. Still... the benefits realized with my decision to undergo WLS far outweigh hair loss.

I also struggle w hair issues, and I haven't had any surgery! Scared what will happen after!

I'm also 9 months out and still losing plenty. I'm hoping it will stop soon. I'm lucky that I had a very thick full head of hair and my texture hasn't changed at all. I'm sick of standing in 3" of water everytime I shower though, from plugging the drain!

I am at the point when there are no more clumps. Not enough hair left!

Update! I was was fitted for a very lovely wig last Friday. It is hard to wear, as it feels like a bad hat! I was told I would get used to it. Actually, it looks better than my own hair; when I had hair.

You are a few week from your 1 year anniversary. I will reach 1 year on Feb 2. Hair continues to fall out. It''s feel like feathers. I have 2 wigs that are uncomfortable but I still wear them outside. I learned January 3rd that I have Multiple Myeloma. Doc said absolutely not related to my RNY revision. I hate sharing my angst, but it's consoling to say it out loud. I will be away for awhile. Love and only best wishes to everyone.

I'm right at a year out, and my hair just started growing back in the last couple of months. It's between 1/4-1/2 inch now, and like baby hair! The rest is definitely dryER than it used to be, and I had thin fine hair to begin with. I am confident that in 6 months it will all be a distant, bad dream! LOL
