DEXA

I'm having a hard time finding a self-pay body composition/DEXA scan near me. Does anyone have ideas about how I could go about looking? Dexafit doesn't have a facility within a hundred miles of me. Thanks!

I scheduled one next month with a mobile truck that is in my area occasionally, but being in Southern California seems to help. Does your local university have a hospital with a bariatric or weight loss program? Sometimes they offer them to people not in the program. Any upcoming vacations or day trips to places more likely to have a machine?

Check with the athletic department of nearby colleges and universities. They often offer that service to the community at reasonable cost.

Where do you live?

I live in NY and there are none here because of the way the laws around testing are structured.

I had to search on the internet and the only one I found in Massachusetts was in Boston. It was rather expensive (and 1.5 hours away), so doing it once to find out where I am is enough for me.

There's nowhere I can find in RI that does it. Where did you go in MA. I'm looking to get it done.
