I have personally been following Eman Abdul Atti's journey to get her life back.

After being bedridden over 20 years she finally got help, and lost over 200 pounds on her own. After having the VSG she continued to lose and everyone thought she was on her way. She never gave up and believed it was never too late. My heart goes out to her loved ones.

Sad. It really shows the ravages of this disease.

Wow .. I hadn't heard this news yet, and am so shocked and saddened .. .. She already had managed to lose 1/2 her EW ..

I read recently, and think posted here earlier that, coincidentally, Egyptians now have the highest obesity rate in the world, for the first time. I had always tended to think of them as fairly healthy people .. I wonder why the change of late .. ?

Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "

HW/461 LW/251 GW/189 CW/274 (yep, a DS semi-failure - it happens :-( )
